Better late than never...

The core group got together a couple of weeks ago and played a couple of games of Warmachine/Hordes. I used the new MKII playtest rules for my Trollbloods and did battle against Siege's Protectorate army. At 35 pts. our armies looked like this:

Trollbloods:

We played a pretty strait forward assassination game. The terrain was setup according to the tournament scenario guidelines and had a huge impact on the deployment and movement during the game. The new frenzy rules are HARSH!! The only warbeasts that did not frenzy was an impaler that i never forced. The game turned out to be a narrow win for the Trollbloods, but if Severius hadn't gone down that turn it was all over for me the next round. Definably an example of "Playing like you have a pair" on both sides. Great game.
